Why Across Tanzania?
About Tanzania

Situated in the east of Africa, Tanzania is one of the most beautiful African countries with plenty of tourist attractions. Tanzania is a home of countless amazing features such as national parks, games, mountains and historic sites.

One of the main attractions found in the Northern Eastern part of Tanzania is the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti, a 60,000 square kilometer savanna, has more than 2 million herbivores and thousands of predators.  This national park is famous for its largest and longest overland biannual migration.  Additionally, the region contains several national parks, and game reserves. Ngorongoro Conservation Area where Olduvai Gorge, the place with some of the oldest hominid fossils is found, is also located in this area. Besides Ngorongoro Conservation Area, in the Serengeti area there is also the Ngorongoro Crater, which is the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera.  The Serengeti National park has gained so great popularity that it has been also recognized in Hollywood films, such as the Lion King. Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest free-standing mountain rise in the world and the highest peak in Africa, is found in the Northern East part of Tanzania. [1]

Tanzania consists of other well known and not well known national parks and conservation areas, like Songo Mnara Ruins, Selous Game Reserve, Kilwa Kislwani Arusha, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ruaha, etc. PICTURE.
Political Stability

Furthermore, for a long time Tanzania has been one of the most peaceful countries with constant political stability. Even though that there are more than 200 ethnic groups with great diversity from one group to the next, Tanzania has been peaceful without any neither civil nor political conflicts for many years.   These ethnic groups enrich our country with great diversity with more things to see making life in this country very interesting. One of these ethnic groups are the popular Maasai people with their colorful traditional dressings and jewelry.

Weather
Moreover, the weather in the Northern East Tanzania, which is at 5,000 feet above sea level, is spring-like most of the time. Temperatures rarely go above the 80’s with low humidity. This weather is very suitable for wildlife viewing all year around with the exceptions of the short rainy seasons from April to mid-May.
